Arcane Pad was one of the standout releases of the 2026 Blackpool Convention, selling out completely in less than two days. Co-created by FISM Invention Award winner Hau Jiun and Korean magician Myung Joon Lee, Arcane Pad is built for highly visual smoke effects that can add a striking layer to your performance.
As shown in the promotional video, the smoke can be shaped in different ways and then transformed into real objects. It can also be used to reveal predictions, create arrow-shaped smoke to locate a spectator’s selected card or other item, and much more.
Arcane Pad does not produce smoke from only one point. It offers three selectable smoke-producing zones, giving you more flexibility for different routines and performance conditions.
(The product includes only one smoke device. Additional smoke devices will be available for separate purchase in the future.)
Arcane Pad features a detachable internal structure. By switching different templates, you can create a variety of smoke shapes. The product comes with 8 different templates, ready to use right out of the box.
If the design you want is not included among the eight templates, Hau Jiun has also prepared additional ready-made stencil files. He will also teach you how to create your own template with modeling software, so even users with no prior modeling experience can learn the process quickly.
Once your file is ready, you can send it to a 3D printing service or ask a friend with 3D printing capabilities to print it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the smoke liquid last when fully filled?
When fully filled, the smoke liquid provides approximately 1 minute of total use. If you activate the smoke for about 3 seconds each time, that works out to around 20 uses.
How long does a full battery charge last?
Standby time is reliable for up to one full day, but we recommend recharging after about 10 performances for optimal performance.
How loud is it during operation?
There is some sound during operation, but it is not loud. It is roughly comparable to common smoke devices used by magicians and can easily be covered by audience noise, ambient sound, or background music during performance.
What is the operating range of the remote control?
Like a standard remote control, it works at a distance of about 10 meters in an open area.
What is the warranty policy?
Hypothesis Magic provides a one-year warranty against non-human-induced damage. Consumables such as smoke liquid, heating wires, and cotton are not covered and will be available separately as replacement parts.
Note: The smoke oil is required. It is not included since the liquid not allowed shipment from China. Please buy it at your local store or ebay search “smoke oil”. Thanks!
